Simplicity 4900; ©1943; MISSES’ HOUSE DRESS AND HOUSECOAT. The fitted bodice is fashioned with a smart surplice line. The skirt, joined to the bodice by a slim inset belt, wraps over and is fastened at the left. In Style I, the tie ends fasten in a bow and a softly flattering self-ruffle simulates a shoulder yoke. Style II features a side-button closing, small collar and patch pocket on the skirt. Rick-rack braid trims the collar, sleeves and pocket.
