A pen gun is a fictional projectile weapon disguised as a fountain pen and developed by the British Secret Intelligence Service's (SIS/MI6) research and development division, Q-Branch. Although never featured in an official James Bond film, a rocket-firing pen gun was introduced in the unofficial film Never Say Never Again (1983). Similar dart-firing weapons made their first official appearance in the PC version of the 2002 video game Nightfire and subsequently appeared in 007 Legends (2012).
