  • The LPW Wrestler of the Year is an achievement award, given annually by e-wrestling promotion Lords of Pain Wrestling (LPW) who personified the essence of the company throughout the year, having the ability to carry an entire promotion. Talent, skill, and achievement are the three prerequisites considered for such an honor. The winner is determined by the votes of peers and handlers. It is LPW's most prestigous yearly achievement award. The award can be traced back to the Slammy Awards created by LPW's preceeding name, the Psychotic Wrestling Alliance (PWA), although to LPW Wiki's knowledge, we are unable to retrieve the winner at this time. Likewise, the award was also given out during the inaugural 2006 edition of Honor Roll, however once again, the winner is unknown. In 2007, D. Hammond Samuels was to be awarded during that year's Honor Roll, but the show was cancelled and Samuels was never officially presented. For 2008, the LPW Achievement Awards were rebooted at Honor Roll, with Wrestler of the Year being the top honor. For 2009, the award was presented at All-Stars.
