The Aristos (Greek Αριστος, "the best," aristos refers to the collective unit) is the ruling section of society in Panterran theory. The Aristos rules supremely over the logos (λογος, "word" or "thought") of the population. That is, this segment controls not only the lives and actions of all in the nation, but the defining features of logic and truth itself. However, the Aristos is not free from the distortion of logos; the Aristos must also believe the facts they create as unquestioningly as their subservient counterpart, the Demos. This strange feat of the mind is achieved through the principle of orthopsythos.

| - The Aristos (Greek Αριστος, "the best," aristos refers to the collective unit) is the ruling section of society in Panterran theory. The Aristos is itself composed of a strict hierarchy that ensures order and rule. Highest is the quasi-mythical "great leader" who embodies the state but who is treated as real through orthopsythosis. Below that is the active decision makers who only take orders from the great leader. At the bottom of the Aristos are the administrators. The Aristos as a whole comprises of 15% of a Panterran population.
