About: DWM 354   Sponge Permalink

An Entity of Type : dbkwik:resource/ijDAXfXnpsHMn8qgAZX5TQ==, within Data Space : 134.155.108.49:8890 associated with source dataset(s)

Unusually, it shares with only issue #261 the fact that it had no comic story. It thus forced a break between the Eighth Doctor and Ninth Doctor's tenures in the DWM comic strip — the only time there has been a gap between Doctors, as of March 2013, in the history of that strip. Instead, editor Clayton Hickman used the space to present a retrospective on the Eighth Doctor, which was liberally illustrated by comic artist Martin Geraghty. Because issue #261's comic absence had been because the comic's creators simply missed their deadline, this is the only issue of the magazine — again, as of as of March 2013 — to have intentionally not included a comic strip.
