The Privateers is a growing organization that is currently allied with the Galactic Republic. They are led by Commodore Thalo Spraxx and Executive Officer Cheryn Treaus. The operational fleet is currently are made up of a small number of ships, including their flagship, the Ravager, a Marauder Corvette stolen from the Empire. The group also employs a small front company known as Aegis Transport Services, and many of their legitimate ships are registered in that company's name. The primary goal of the Privateer group is to attack Imperial supply ships, loot their cargo, and turn a profit. This being said, the Privateers do take on an Auxiliary military role from time to time, which is part of their contract with the Republic.
