The Pasaran are a strange kind of FOE inhabiting all strata of Etrian Odyssey III. Unlike every other FOE in the game, these can phase through walls, and will actually try as hard as they can to avoid the player, making it similar to the Yggdrasil Bud from the first game. Pasaran on B24F will not move, making them easy targets. Their FOE avatar is golden.

Unlike every other FOE in the game, these can phase through walls, and will actually try as hard as they can to avoid the player, making it similar to the Yggdrasil Bud from the first game. Pasaran on B24F will not move, making them easy targets. Every stratum has a specific kind of pasaran living within, and each of these has their own monster codex entry, even though they share the name. The last two Strata only contain Blue Pasaran. When you hit a Blue Pasaran with an elemental attack, it will spawn another Pasaran of the element's color (Blue for Ice, Red for Fire and Yellow for Volt). Their FOE avatar is golden.
