Neith (pronounced "NEETH"), also known as Venus I, is a natural satellite of the planet Venus. The satellite is slightly larger than the Moon and orbits much closer to its parent planet in respect to the Moon (taking about 11 days to make one orbit). Neith has a similar composition and appearance to that of the Moon and is believed to have formed from leftover debris from a planetary collision between Venus and another planet during the formation of the Solar System (similar to that of the Moon).
