Als er opeens overal nooddeuren naar beneden komen de het complex geheel zullen afsluiten, komt Locke vast te zitten met zijn benen onder een van die deuren. Hierdoor heeft Locke de hulp van Henry om de “nummers” in te voeren en op de knop te drukken, want hij raakt gewond. Tot hun verbazing vinden Ana-Lucia, Sayid en Charlie een luchtballon, maar omdat ze Henry niet geheel vertrouwen, openen ze het graf dat bij de luchtballon ligt. Echter daar blijkt geen vrouw, maar een man te zijn begraven. Ondertussen heeft Locke flashbacks naar zijn relatie met zijn vader, die zijn nier gestolen heeft en vindt het gezels

"What is it, Hot Spot?" He asks, wings hitching up slightly in worry. This isn't a good sign at all.
