Mit Alexanders Zauber-Wandler-H kann man ferner aus zehn Doppel-Einheiten einen Tripel-Spruch gewinnen. Direkt nach Ultima ist Tripel der stärkste Kopplungszauber des Spiels. Das Wirken von Tripel im Kampf erhöht den Freundschaftswert zu Cerberus um 2 und den zu Carbuncle um 1, senkt jedoch den zu Eden um 0,2.
