Razor Entertainment was a baseball card company from 2008 to 2010. They had no licenses with MLB, MLBPA, or any other major sports organization but produced cards by signing individual players to contracts. Razor was first founded in 2005 by Brian Gray. In 2008, the first overall pick in the draft Tim Beckham signed an exclusive deal with Razor. Thus he would appear on only Razor cards until he was in the major leagues. In turn, this sparked several years where major prospects would only appear in one brand but not the others.
