Hugh Donell Green (born July 27, 1959) is a former American college and professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for eleven seasons during the 1980s and 1990s. He played college football for the University of Pittsburgh, and was recognized as a three-time consensus All-American. Green was selected in the first round of the 1981 NFL Draft, and played professionally for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Miami Dolphins of the NFL. He is considered to be one of the greatest linebackers in Buccaneers history.
