Paradise Oskar is the stage name of Finnish singer-songwriter Axel Ehnström. He was born to the Swedish-speaking minority in Finland and took his stage name from author Astrid Lindgren's children's book "Rasmus and the Vagabond", where Paradise Oskar is a vagabond who plays the accordion. He is studying pop and jazz at the Helsinki Music Institute. He signed a record deal with Finland’s leading record company Warner Music Finland and his debut album Sunday Songs was released digitally in May 2011 across Europe. All songs on the album were written and composed by himself.
