The Marin Mountain Circuit is a demanding swoop racing locale situated north of Plaxton in the Marin Mountain Range. The demanding course weaves through some two hundred and fifty kilometers of dense forest, craggy granite and shale outcroppings, serpentine riverbed, and even into the treacherous scree and talus of Mount Whakat (Whakatane). Mount Marin, the namesake for the entire range, serves as the start and end point. Team Caslaugn, Caspia's local "pro-am" team, often holds smaller events during the offseason.

Mount Marin, the namesake for the entire range, serves as the start and end point. Several challenging features along the race course, which at some places is no more than two swoops' width wide, have been given simple, foreboding monikers such as The Spiral, The Chasm, and The Drop. Long, powerful swoops are frequently hamstrung by the features if the rider is not prepared for them, while the Caspian bikes — such as the S-6c Akula and the 30-oc.2 Shrike — have a slight advantage because they were designed and tested with this track in mind. The entire resort was underwritten by wealthy trade mogul Benjamin Jawatha at the behest of his wife Elana Tracer, who would later go on to become a standout swoop-racer as part of the McTavish Privateers team. The Tracer family would manage the resort while the race circuit would be maintained by the Galactic Swoop League. Team Caslaugn, Caspia's local "pro-am" team, often holds smaller events during the offseason.
