| - The Battle of Taverley was an engagement in the Asgarnian-controlled town of Taverley. For a few weeks beforehand, Kandarin had been massing troops at their border, which was later referred to as the Catherby Crisis. Asgarnia, in turn, massed troops in Taverley, fearing that Kandarin would invade. In the early morning of May 1st, 137, Kandarin moved 4,100 of their total 8,000 troops into Taverley, immediately facing resistance. By the end of the first day, half of the town was controlled by Kandarin. During the third day, Asgarnian forces slowly pushed the Kandarian Army back.

On the second day, at about 9 o'clock in the morning, Lord Vant, commanding, ordered a push from the Southern end of the town, hoping to corner the enemy in the North-West quarter of the town. Kandarin forces advanced a short bit to the East, while Asgarnia was pushing from the South. During the third day, Asgarnian forces slowly pushed the Kandarian Army back. By 7 o'clock in the evening on the fourth day of the battle, only a small percentage of the town was under Kandarian control, resulting in many Kandarian soldiers to flee to Catherby altogether. Of the remaining 3,000 soldiers alive, only 1,200 had not fled. At 7:38 P.M., General Khatzo ordered all forces to fall back to Kandarin if able, or to surrender if not. Approximately 750 men were captured, and the rest made it back to Kandarin soil. Taverley was moderately damaged during the battle, and reconstructive efforts took ten months to fully repair the town. Because of the battle, relations between Asgarnia and Kandarin worsened. Later, in 155, Kandarin gave Asgarnia 500 Rune longswords in an attempt to make amends for the attack.
