Redoubt and Reformer: The Life and Service of Oluth Par'fey was the final book written by Rear Admiral Reeka Chorizzo, and published shortly after her retirement from the Republic Marines. The book was a biographical account of Vice Admiral Oluth Par'fey's life and service with the Marine Corps, particularly her tenure as Commandant of the Marines. Reeka, who had entered the Corps under Par'fey's leadership, wanted to focus on how the Bothan admiral had used her wartime experiences to continue and expand upon the reforms of her predecessor, Sesur Ganymede. As the longest-serving Commandant to date, the Rodian regarded Par'fey as a particularly noteworthy historical personality.
