Peter Tonkinson wrote an episode of Coronation Street in January 1968, another in March 1977, and eight more between October 1983 and September 1986, one of them co-written with H.V. Kershaw, making 10 in total. His main contribution though was as a long term storyliner for the programme for thirteen years in sixteen separate stints: His only other known credit was as a writer on the 1967 BBC comedy series Three of a Kind.
