[42SD] was founded in February 2008 by Evil and Kiwi two former members and Presidents of [U.F.P] unhappy with the organisation, ethos and poor reputation of the Federation at that time. They were joined by several of the experienced and senior members of [U.F.P] as well as friends from other guilds looking for a fresh start. The guilds origins meant that in its initial stages it deliberately lacked any formal organisational structure and comprehensive set of guild rules. Guild members previous experiences in other guilds, notably the Federation, made such measures an anathema and [42SD] was initially run on a collobarative basis. Guild members previous experiences in other guilds, notably the Federation, made such measures an anathema and [42SD] was initially run on a collobarative basis. While the guild founders (Evil & Kiwi) reserved the right to decide on certain details, guild members were largely free to do what they wished within the ALPHAverse, the guild trusting to their experience and common sense. More recently the guild has adopted a more defined command structure. At present 4 members have positions of responsibility within the guild: * Evil * Carnyorth * Kaiser Mathias * Giggity Kiwi opted to step down from his leadership position in November 2008 passing responsibility onto Carnyorth.
