Irene Komnene-Ioannou (1348 - 1404) was Emperor of the Komnenos-Manuelidis-Atlantean Empire in 1386. She was the fifth Diadochian monarch to not rule from Atlantis as the result of a split of the Diadochian Empire (historically known as the Atlantean Empire) into two warring states in 1367. She ruled over Manuelidis empire for several months but she was in fact a Princess of the Ioannist empire by blood. She was the daughter of Demetrius V and the wife of Andronikos I whom she succeeded as reigning empress.
