Hollywood 1775; ca. 1940s; Bathing Suit and Beach Coat. The flared skirt of the bathing suit joins the bras top in a shaped raised waist-line in front. The pleats at side front and back are stitched down part way and release fullness at the hip-line. Novelty pleating is optional. The beach coat in 2 lengths features a drawstring waist-line, large loose sleeves, a pointed hood that folds back from the face and large patch pockets. Undersuit with bloomer legs is attached.
