Vivian Kuttner is Nikolas Kuttner's daughter who died in an unspecified accident a few weeks before the USG O'Bannon was sent on the shard recovery mission to Aegis VII. After coming into direct contact with a marker fragment, Kuttner begins to hallucinate her presence. Nikolas then hallucinated monsters attacking Vivian, leading to the death of Noah Pawling. On the USM Abraxis, Vivian runs away and leads her father to an airlock. Nikolas, in a desperate attempt to rescue her, EDF Marines tried to stop him but it was too late. He opened the airlock and basically killed himself and the other men. It later hinted that Vivian's favorite song was the nursery rhyme, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".
