First, it was not the final battle of Bleach. There are at least 2 more arcs to come, as stated by the author himself. Ichigo is now and always will be the main protagonist, making him "the stories hero" - however in respect of what eventually happened, it was Urahara who overcame Aizen in the end, despite Ichigo's best efforts - so it is really Urahara.
