| - Plesiosaurswere a diverse and highly successful group of marine reptiles that made up the order Plesiosauria. They were entirely or almost entirely aquatic, and thrived throughout the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Plesiosaurs became extinct during the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event, which was also responsible for the extinction of non-avian dinosaurs, pterosaurs, and most marine reptiles. The order Plesiosauria was comprised of two superfamilies, Plesiosauroidea and Pliosauroidea.
- Plesiosaur are were giant lizard-like non-vegetable, non-mineral, non-sentient beings that may or may not have had feathers, scales or wore a saddle for jaunts around Biblical Atlantis.
- A plesiosaur was a type of carnivorous aquatic reptile. A plesiosaur appears in the 1933 film where it manages to strangle kong in a bubbly swamp but killed.
- Plesiosaurs (プリシオサウル Purishiosauru?) where common sight in Tsuburaya's series, Dinosaur Task Force, Koseidon.
- The plesiosaur is a three-part fossil that can be donated to the museum in all Animal Crossing series games to date.
- Liopleurodon, a huge Pliosaur came trough an anomaly in the Spaghetti Junction on Guns Island. It's attack trawler in the Atlantic Ocean. It's last encountered by ARC team and died from the cold conditions of the Atlantic winter.

- Plesiosaurs were marine reptiles that dominated Earth's oceans from the early Jurassic to late Cretaceous. They came in two types, the Pliosaurs, which had short necks and enormous skulls and the Plesiosaurs themselves, which had long necks and tiny skulls. The true Plesiosaurs were peaceful fish-eaters who could clamber onto land to escape predators while the Pliosaurs were blood-thirsty carnivores that devoured anything in their way.
- The Plesiosaur is the sea monster that did Ganzack's bidding.
- Plesiosaurs (Greek: plesios meaning 'near' or 'close to' and sauros meaning 'lizard') were carnivorous aquatic (mostly marine) reptiles. After their discovery, they were somewhat fancifully said to have resembled "a snake threaded through the shell of a turtle". The common name 'plesiosaur' is applied both to the 'true' plesiosaurs (Suborder Plesiosauroidea) and to the larger taxonomic rank of Plesiosauria, which includes both long-necked (elasmosaurs) and short-necked (polycotylid) forms. Short-necked, large-headed plesiosaurs are more properly called pliosaurs. There were many species of plesiosaurs and not all of them were as large as Liopleurodon, Kronosaurus or Elasmosaurus.
