abstract	Dannon Haze, also known as "Dan", was a Corellian smuggler who, known for his unnatural good looks and natural aversion to commitment, left a trail of broken hearts from one end of the galaxy to the other. He seemed to lack even the ability to commit to a ship; his YT-1400 freighter was only half-jokingly called Insert Name Here. Despite the fact that he was largely motivated by self-interest, he still avoided the Peace Brigade during the Yuuzhan Vong War, and instead finally broke down and joined the Smugglers' Alliance. He served with distinction as a member of the Smugglers' Alliance fleet group at Ebaq 9 and was awarded an honorary Captain's commission in the Galactic Alliance Navy. It was unknown which side, if any, he took during the Second Corellian Insurrection. He was a part of the Smugglers' Alliance again when it was reformed to help set up the Jedi Intelligence Network. While working with the Jedi, Nim convinced him to look beyond his own interests and consider those of others. It is unknown what happened to Dan after the Galactic Alliance government disbanded the Smugglers' Alliance along with the Jedi Intelligence Network.
