Kelis (née Rogers; born August 21, 1979) is an American musical artist, who performed on Duran Duran's All You Need Is Now album and with the band during the Unstaged show in March 2011.

- Peel was impressed with Kelis' voice and her debut album Kaleidoscope, which became a commercial hit. So impressed with her voice, he invited her to do a session for his show and wanted Kelis to do a selection of soul standards. However due to lack of time to rehearse, she ended up doing a session of her songs from her debut album. Peel was somehow disappointed with her decision and also was not impressed with her later material.

She needed dilithium to power her shuttle, and Kelis offered to provide her with the dilithium if she provided him with stories about her adventures on the USS Voyager. He wanted to use the material to write a play about the "eternals" of Voyager. He hoped that the play would ease tensions between rival heads of clans on the planet and avert a war. He used these plays to entertain the local warlord who had become insulted by a neighboring lord over a dowry.

He used these plays to entertain the local warlord who had become insulted by a neighboring lord over a dowry. He also provided food and other supplies to Torres as she was repairing her shuttle. Torres in turn helped him rehearse the play, but they couldn't come up with an ending. When the shuttle was repaired, Torres joined Kelis and took part in his play, by quickly improvising an ending. The warlord was pleased and war was averted as Torres beamed to a waiting Voyager while integrating this into the ending by speaking into her combadge in front of the crowd of people and then asking to "ascend to the heavens" and vanishing in a transporter effect. (VOY: "Muse") Kelis was played by Joseph Will. His costume was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]

Außerdem besorgt er ihr eine Bronzeplatte, die auf einer Seite mit Gold beschichtet ist. Dafür verlangt er allerdings Informationen über die Vulkanier. Auch berichtet er ihr von einem drohenden Krieg seines Patrons und der daraus resultierenden Entdeckungsgefahr. So überzeugt er Torres, mit ihm ins Dorf zu gehen, wo sie ihm bei der Weiterentwicklung seines Stückes hilft. Allerdings überdenkt er immer wieder aufs Neue das Ende seines Stückes. Jedoch fällt ihm kein gutes Ende ein. Daher schickt er Jero mit einer Nachricht zu Torres, in der er droht ihre Rolle sterben zu lassen. Diese kommt daraufhin zur Aufführung und spielt sich selbst. Als Kelis' Freundin Lanya versucht Torres vor dem Patron als „Ewige“ zu enttarnen, wird dies von den Chorsängern verhindert. In der letzten Szene des Stücks wird B'Elanna Torres auf die USS Voyager gebeamt. Kelis spielt unterdessen das Stück zu Ende und appelliert in seiner Schlussrede an seinen klugen und weisen Patron, den Frieden zu bewahren, damit die Spiele fortgesetzt werden können. (VOY: ) Kelis wurde von Joseph Will gespielt und von Johannes Baasner synchronisiert.
