Chain Chomp Wheel is similar to a roulette. You start on a boost pad and get boosted into the roulette. The roulette is spinning, so the item blocks on it are moving. Also in the middle of the roulette is a boost ramp similar to the DS course Tart Top, and you can get an item there. There are also boost ramps along the side, like Funky Stadium, but you can get items on the ramps. And last but not least, the reason it is called Chain Chomp Wheel is because a lose Chain Chomp occasionally rolls around the roulette.

- Chain Chomp Wheel (known as Chain Chomp Roulette in Europe and Australia) is a battle stage in Mario Kart Wii. It is shaped like a roulette wheel, and rotates counter-clockwise. It appears to be located in an aquarium, since some eels can be seen swimming outside of it, and there are also Mushroom-shaped plants there. All the racers begin at the top of the stage, and fall straight back down it. A Chain Chomp rolls down the middle as an obstacle, which is a right pest since in the middle there is a giant star complete with some Item Boxes.
