Most students think of ISOM as "the other" computer major. This common misconception leads a lot of students to believe that this major leans heavy on computer use in the classroom yet most of your classwork is in a lecture style classroom. The only class that I can personally think of that used a computer in the class room on a regular basis are: Database Management, Business Computing I & II, and Business Programming I and II. There are probably others inside of the IS Concentration that I haven't taken personally. Still most of the course work is lecture style; not inside a computer lab like most would think.
