1-Ichi (1 イチ 1-Ichi) is a V-Cinema prequel to Ichi the Killer. The film centers around Ichi during his high school years, before he's discovered his fighting ability. When Dai, the high school bully, sees Ichi watching him from a distance and smiling he views him as a rival. For some reason he's convinced Ichi is able to fight so he keeps trying to provoke him into a conflict. Ichi totally avoids any confrontation until he is harassed by the rival high school's baseball team. This awakens his hidden killer instinct and he quickly slaughters them all. Dai discovers the mess Ichi left behind and tries to find him, only to be confronted by the new class bully, Onizame. Onizame makes short work of Dai with his limb-twisting techniques and eventually corners Ichi, trying to force him into showi
