Janica Halminen, a 33-year-old kitchen employee from Espoo, was a contestant on the 2016 autumn season of the Finnish version of the show on 22 and 29 October, 2016. She walked away with €60,000, having decided to walk away in the 14th question. She is the most successful woman and the second most succesful contestant in the Finnish version. Only Markku Rikola (€70,000 in 2002) has won more than her. Her run was shot on 26 and 27 August, 2016.

- Janica thought the answer could be A: Louis Armstrong, since he was a jazz musician, and New Orleans is known for jazz. Since Janica had nothing to lose, she made a guess and said: A: Louis Armstong that was correct.
- Janica did not have a clue, so she decided to phone her friend Satu Hovi who sings in a band. When Janica had read the options for her, Satu said the answer is a violin. Since a violin was not one of the options, Janica read the options again. With only one second left in the clock, Satu said: "oboe". Janica went with this and won €60,000.
- From the 6 contestants, only Janica correctly answered C-A-B-D, making it into the Hot Seat.
- Janica thought the answer is either A: Jupiter or C: Saturn. She asked 3 of the audience: they all sais the answer is A: Jupiter. Janica went with them and won €3,000. The three audience members got gift cards of the telecommunications company DNA for answering correctly.
- Janica had never heard of a pelerine. Janica had seen many tarts as a kitchen employee, so she excluded the option A: A sweet tart. Since B: Scarecrow did not seem logical, Janica decided to make a guess again and answer C: Cape-collar that turned out to be correct.
- Janica decided to walk away. If she had went for it, she would have said B: Common murre. It would have been the right answer. Janica won €60,000 and became the most succesful woman in the Finnish version of the show ever.
