I'm happy to be here Mandalorian: The current war has been going on a while, how would you say Lue is faring so far? cyjake111: We're doing pretty well considering that we currently outnumber our opponents. If you asked me a few months ago, I'd say we were doing our best in light of overwhelming odds Mandalorian: The ticker seems strangely silent, except for a few hits on UCs, is there actual fighting still going on or are Guilds massing at JGs and staring at each other? cyjake111:the top guilds have gotten so large that massive fleet dispersal isn't very advantageous. it's better to just mass up in 1 galaxy and destroy everything there and jg sit or move on to the next galaxy. the ticks still happen just not in super large ways as there are fleets in transit on both sides at any given time. I'd say more about our own plans, but can't due to security risks Mandalorian : Rumor has it some of your enemies are receiving outside help, any comment? cyjake111: if it happens, it happens. nothing we can do to prevent except to keep intel as tight as we can. if said inside help is through mercs, we don't complain as it's a normal thing that happens in any war. Mandalorian: The Lue Guild page has specifically targeted NGS, any particular reason? cyjake111: our newbies target ngs bases since it's good training for them (LUE has no training guild) and they cite on their page that we're an unwanted war so we do it to poke them in their tummies. Mandalorian :Was Lue implicated at the Battle of HoC? cyjake111: we weren't part of the giant battle III was involved in. we were busy in another section of the alpha verse getting oobl and shld mad at us. Mandalorian:The saying goes The enemy of my enemy is my friend did the war bring additionnal cooperation with Trinity? cyjake111: I won't say for our allies but even though LUE has had no formal treaty with the guilds forming III, we've had pleasant contact with some of their members. we cooperate with each other in operations and chat on irc to get to know each other better. only good can from that. Mandalorian : What's your opinion of war-time guilds being formed such as III or DCF? cyjake111: war mergers are a great way of utilizing jg's and intel without it getting lost in communcation between members. the only bad thing i can see is the butting of heads between leaders who are usually leading their guilds and finding out there are others in the merged guild that are like them. III this is no problem as they work like a well oiled machine together but i can't say that for any other merged guild in alpha Mandalorian : Do you feel that the legth of the conflict might bring a shift in the balance of power in the alphaverse? cyjake111: the shift of power came with the giant JG battle. the length just cements it into our minds Mandalorian : Will the legth of the conflict generate lasting gruges, or will everyone have a big laugh and some cake once this is over, and do you see the end coming soon? cyjake111: lets take this in steps. I cannot speak for any of the other guilds but for LUE. LUE doesn't hold grudges, we see war as a way to earn credits and go pew pew pew. Other guilds may see the war differently but that's them. As for the end of the war, I can't talk about that in a public statement. Everyone will just have to stay tuned. Mandalorian : Would LUE accept a negociated peace or are you aiming for unconditionnal surrender? cyjake111: LUE's High Council decides what kind of agreement when it comes to peace as well as working with our allies on their wants when it comes to the end of the war. Mandalorian : Would LUE agree to separate peace? cyjake111: At this moment, no. We stick with our allies in their collective decision. Mandalorian: Would you like to take this opportunity to salute some of your allies or guild mates for their performance in the war? cyjake111: meh. not really. they know who they are that I think are awesome at fighting (on both sides) and that's all that matters.
