The vehicle was also produced in a number of variants with one, the 9P110, being used as a tank destroyer as it mounted six 9M14 Malyutka missiles in a hidden compartment that popped out from the top of the vehicle's hull. This variant was produced from 1963 to 1966 and was sold to a number of nations, such as North Vietnam.
