  • CJ (pronounced 'Cee-Jay') is a fictional character of The GateWorld Cantina. She has a strong childish personality, often times playing around and joking with the other crew members, and is well-known for her expertise in Japanese sword play and the speed of which she carried it out. While she usually appears to be a care-free young woman it only takes an instant for her to change her personality completely. She is very protective of her friends and crew members, and subsequently would not hesitate to kill anyone who threatens to harm the people she holds dearest. She keeps quiet about her personal life and about her past, and instead tries to focus on the present. Though she won't say much about her history, most of her fellow crewmembers presume that she has lost someone important to her by the way she treasures those her current friends and crew. CJ is considered to be Mapp's first official companion, although she was thought to be completely human during the Cantina's earlier years. Either she kept her true nature a secret from Mapp and the others, or the countless paranormal incidents of which the Cantina encountered awakened long suppressed memories of hers, thus allowing her to evolve and regain her status as a Soul Reaper. This article is about the Cantina character "Commander Jumper". For the TGCC character, see
