Dear readers, your long wait is over. This latest installment of our interviews is now ready, let's hear from Stephan74. As my ship dropped out of warp, I saw not one but five cubes waiting at the designated coordinates. Shifting on my seat, I opened communication frequencies. Hello there, said I, I am here, as agreed, to... I was immediatly cut off :" Lower your shields." I expected to hear: and prepare to be assimilated, we will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Resistance is futile. But no, to my great pleasure, that was all. I could have run, but no. I decied to put myself on the line for you, my readers. Once my shield were down, I was transported to one of the cubes. I was taken to central area where a view screen was there for me. Where are you taking

I could have run, but no. I decied to put myself on the line for you, my readers. Once my shield were down, I was transported to one of the cubes. I was taken to central area where a view screen was there for me. Where are you taking me? I asked, as the cube made the jump into hyper-space. "We have decided that you will be taken to Unimatrix J-16" said a disembodied voice. I looked around to see two drones flanking me. A a whole lot of others lining the wall in their slots. No chair or seat, geez don't these people ever sit down? The trip was a short one, and as soon as we returned to sub-light speed I was again transported to a unknown area. In front of me stood a drone not all that different from those I had already seen. Mandalorian: Stefan74, Diplomat of BORG welcome to Mandalorian asks... Stefan74: Thanks. I liked your former interviews a lot! Mandalorian: Thank you, I try my best. As one of the top guilds in the Alphaverse BORG are both feared and respected, which do you prefer? Stefan74: Both. you summed it up pretty well. Mandalorian: You are now facing Trinity AND CoRM. Is BORG power threatened? Stefan74: We are facing Trinity, [CoRM], [NPO], [LUE], [-Min-], [CSR], [CGB] and [« Æ »]. As everyone knows, we're pretty outnumbered - but we have our real allies OOBL and SHIELD with us. It's a hard job not to get caught and shot, but on the other side we have targets everywhere. And I think it's over time that we finally are in a war with overwhelming odds against us, since we so often outnumbered and overpowered our own targets. But threatened? No. III and CoRMs plan to destroy us won't work. Mandalorian: I know from personal experience, trust me readers, I know, that BORG are fearsome fighters, but those are steep odds, they may not destroy you, but might put you into regeneration mode, is that an option that is considered, what I mean is might BORG sue for peace? Stefan74: We asked for peace after the epic HoC-Battle. III denied, CoRM didn't even answer us. We are a fighter's guild. And we will fight. Mandalorian: Shield and LUE said they would not agree to separate peace; does the same go for BORG? Stefan74: Yes, we won't leave an ally alone. But that is unrealistic. All our allies have been offered peace. OOBL and SHIELD refused it. Mandalorian: My reader and I would like some clarification, BORG is at war with CoRM, yet shield is not nor is OOBL. Stefan74: CoRM attacked us by surprised. We can face them by ourselves. Borg has more members than OOBL. When OOBL concentrates on few opponents, they're much more effective. And as long CoRM doesn't do any surprise hits, we can handle them pretty well, that's the reason why we face CoRM alone. Mandalorian: So it's CoRM vs BORG and BORG vs NOP, Min, LUE, III. Stefan74: No. After OOBL declared war on III (III declared war on Borg, just a little reminder) the NPO-Coalition declared on OOBL. Mandalorian: D0 you think CoRM and III are coordinating? Stefan74: They are definitely doing coordination, also with NPO. Mandalorian: Rumour has it you are receiving outside help, care to comment? Stefan74: What do you see as outside help? Mandalorian: Some players lining up to fight on your side. Stefan74: Would be good for us, but III is doing a good job on scaring guilds away from helping us. Mandalorian: BORG refuses pacts why is that? Stefan74: Pacts kill the game. At least too much do. See what happened in this war. Mandalorian: Some say it makes it more fun... Stefan74: May it be to everyone, how he likes it. But the days of good old one on ones are over. At least for the top guilds. Mandalorian: How did you fare, personally at the battle of the Hall of Chosen? Stefan74: Well, I organised the hit with together with Paestero and Bosk. That run pretty well. My personal hit was more of a catastrophe. My target was supposed to be Scort, but he moved his fleet, so I had seconds to search me a new one. I decided for Embrace Death after a short talk with Paestero. ED was faster than me so I produced my third lost battle in the game. I lost 40, he 12 million. Both fleets got completely destroyed. But I don't mind, as I always was willing to sacrifice all I have for my guild. But I wouldn't have wanted to miss HoC. I highly respect all Borg, Mordor and CMD that sacrificed their fleets there. Mandalorian: Have you replenished since that loss? Stefan74: Of course I rebuild. What else to do? Mandalorian: Can we expect more daring hits like that in the near future? Stefan74: No comment on strategic and tactiacl questions. Sorry. Mandalorian: Understandable, does BORG have a recruitment policy, do Borg even recruit, or just assimilate? Stefan74: Yes, be a strong player and maybe BORG has a spot for you. For further information, Xanadu X is our recruiter. But for the moment, recruitment is closed and the way will lead to our Sub-Collective RAGEX, which are really good people. Mandalorian: Does BORG watch the other wars on the server? Stefan74: Only when RAGEX is involved. Mandalorian: Like with SdS? Stefan74: Yes. Mandalorian: Care to comment? Stefan74: Resistance is, has been and always will be futile. RAGEX will win. Mandalorian: SdS have already surrendered. Stefan74:Yes, but so far the surrender has not been accepted by RAGEX. Mandalorian: Will BORG be victorious in this epic war? Stefan74: That depends on how you see victory. We fight over 3 billion enemy fleet. They can wait nearly everywhere for us. We nearly have targets everywhere. I doubt that there will be clear winner in this conflict. Mandalorian: So it will end in a stalemate? Stefan74: At the moment, I don't see an end. III and CoRM want to make us unable to fight for some months and if they want to accomplish that target, the war will go on for a very long time. Mandalorian: Thank you Stefan74 for your time, good luck in the war. Stefan74: Thank you also. Especially for being so objective after our personal story here. I hope you continue this for a long time. P&W really got interesting again. Looking forward on more interviews coming from you.
