Professor Sycamore: Good morning to both of you! You might be wondering why I called you to my lab today- Zachary: Are we going to get our starters today? Professor Sycamore: I was going to keep that a surprise, but yes. Your choices for your starter Pokemon are- Zachary: Chespin, the grass type, Fenniken, the fire type, or Froakie the water type! Professor Sycamore: Yes, Zachary. (shrinks back in embarrassment) I was going to keep it a surprise. Zachary: Abigail, can I pick first? (Abigail nods, as she still doesn't know which one to choose) Zachary: Alright, I'm going to go with Chespin! Professor Sycamore: Oh? How did you make that decision so quickly? Zachary: Well, my sister told me that she has a friend who's a super strong trainer, and she chose Chespin, so, since I'm going to be a strong trainer, it only makes sense, right? Professor Sycamore: And Abigail? Which one do you choose? Abigail: Hmm...Well, I'm not too sure about how I'm gonna train, but Froakie does look cute, so I guess I'll pick Froakie! Professor Sycamore: Good choice! And, to help you with your journeys, I want you to take these. These are the newest model Kalos Pokedexes! All the data has been updated and indexed to give you information on every Pokemon you can catch in Kalos! Abigail and Zachary: Thank you Professor! (There is a scene change, to when the pair arrives back near Vaniville Town to tell their families about their journeys, when all of a sudden, they here a voice on the other side of the gate. They open it slowly, and she's looking away from them, to the flowers.) ???: Home...Am I actually back, is this home, or has this region become just a simple distant memory? (The unnamed girl is then seen flying off somewhere on her Pidgeot.) Abigail: Zach, did you see that just now? Zachary: Yeah...That was weird. (Time skip to the next morning) Abigail: Zachary, you remember what we saw yesterday when we got home from the professor's lab, right? Zachary: Abigail, I was there with you the whole time...of course I saw. Abigail: Oh good, so it wasn't just a dream. Do you think we should tell the professor about that trainer? Zachary: Abigail, we are going to see hundreds, maybe even thousands of trainers on our journey. We don't need to tell the professor about every one. Abigail: I know, but she seemed really strong, don't ya think? And we know she's from Kalos, probably Vaniville, 'cause she was whispering all that things about Kalos being her home, and how she was back after a long time. And the professor knows a lot of strong trainers from Vaniville, right? Zachary: Alright then, but I'm going to come with you-to make sure you don't get lost in Lumiose or anything. (There is a scene change to when they get to the professor's lab) Abigail: Hey professor, do you know about any super strong trainers from Vaniville Town with a Pidgeot? Professor Sycamore: Hmm, I might. Tell me more about this Trainer and I'll see if I recognize anything. Abigail: Well, she was whispering about how she hadn't been home for a really long time because she'd been travelling all over the place- Professor Sycamore: (sighs) Yup, that's her alright. Tell me, do you know if this trainer is still in town or not? Abigail: Well, we were going to check as soon as we made it back. Professor Sycamore: Would you mind if I came with you? I think I may know the trainer your talking about, and I need to talk with her. (There is a time skip to when the group reaches Vaniville Town. They open the gates to see her standing near the center of the town, this time adressing her team.) ???: Alright team, who's ready to take on the Kalos region? (Her Pokemon all nod and smile at her) ???: Then let's get going! Professor Sycamore: Oh Madison, tsk tsk tsk. You come back to your home region for the first time in 4 years and you don't even bother to visit your father before taking off on another adventure. Madison: Wha-Oh, professor! I was going to surprise you as soon as I reached Lumiose, but I guess that plan is ruined now.
