  • Wedged between the peaks of the Bastion mountain range, the sea and the dense heartland forests of Nature's Retreat, the county of Wood’s Hall is host to a variety of environments. The north has a rocky coast cleaved by numerous inlets and coves, not dissimilar to the coast of Rollen. To the west lie the foothills of the Bastion, completely covered with tall grass and occasionally small groups of trees. The west is also home to the entrance of Verdant Pass, two connected major river valleys that form one of the few reliable ways to travel across the Bastion. Close to the pass stands an old, dilapidated wooden hall from which the county takes its name. To the south and east lie expansive forests that link up with the darker, more dense forests of the heartlands.
