- Some time later, Captain Plunder found himself incarcerated in Highview, awaiting execution. Upon hearing from fellow inmate Simpson the Cat that Gulch had built a tunnel, he freed them both but was less than pleased to discover that the tunnel was outside their cell. After breaking out (using a conjured question mark), Plunder engaged in battle with Mister Gullets, the prison guard, but Simpson ended things by painting a hole for Gullets to fall into. The pair entered the tunnel, but Plunder's large frame caused him to get stuck at least one. They eventually made it into the sewers, but were forced to hide when voices started approaching from the other end. Unbeknownst to Plunder, the voices were coming from the Sky Pirates who had entered the tunnel from the other end to rescue their cap

They eventually made it into the sewers, but were forced to hide when voices started approaching from the other end. Unbeknownst to Plunder, the voices were coming from the Sky Pirates who had entered the tunnel from the other end to rescue their captain. With the pirates entering the second portion of the tunnel, Plunder and Simpson escaped by using the tunnel they came from.
