Ankhiroe (Αγχιροη) whose name means pouring-flow was one of four Naiad Nymphs of the River Erasinos in Argolis (southern Greece). It is mentioned in Antoninus Liberalis' Metamorphoses 40They welcomed the goddess Britomartis into their country when she arrived from Krete (Crete).
