- Hyper Sonic (ハイパーソニック Haipā Sonikku?) is a hyper transformation of Sonic the Hedgehog that is obtained by collecting all seven Super Emeralds, Chaos Emeralds that have been enhanced by the Master Emerald. To trigger the transformation, Sonic must collect at least fifty Rings and perform the Insta-shield. To this date, Hyper Sonic is recognized as the most powerful form of Sonic ever.

Unfortunately, he is too late to stop one agent firing two missiles, one at the Hill Top Zone and another at the Metropolis Zone. Realising that the impact sites are miles apart, Sonic sprints to the Hill Top Zone and knocks the first missile into space with a mini tornado. He then heads to Metropolis City, rebuffing an autograph seeker on the way. Inside the city, Sonic only just makes and has to trap the blast in a speed cocoon, causing the missile to implode. With the missile trashed, the city is saved.
