Top Trumps is a card game. Each card contains a list of numerical data, and the aim of the game is to compare these values in order to try to trump and win an opponent's card. A wide variety of different packs of Top Trumps have been published based on the Star Wars universe. There has been a Star Wars tournament box set with the five previously released packs and a 30 Greatest Moments pack.

- Each card has a profile image of the character and a short text describing the character and its history. Each card has five values; debut, mayhem, glamor, humor and hall of fame, these values are used to determine the winner of each round.
- There was no Groundskeeper Willie card in the Classic Volume collection.

- Top Trumps was first introduced in England by Dubreq in 1977. The line continued until the early '90s. In 1999, Winning Moves bought the rights to the game and relaunched it. The cards are sold in packs with different themes. Some packs feature public domain themes such as military hardware and wildlife. Others are based on things like books and movies, including Pirates of the Caribbean. There have been two releases of Pirates of the Caribbean cards: one for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and one for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.
- Each of the New Series packs are thirty card sets with the five stats: Height, Intelligence, Monster Rating, Darkness, and Courage.
* Pack one from 2006 had characters from Rose to The Age of Steel. It was a thirty card set with five attributes, like all New Series packs that came after. An Abzorbaloff card was also available.
* Pack two from 2007 contained characters from The Idiot's Lantern to Blink. Dalek Sec (not the hybrid), Mother Bloodtide and a new Abzorbaloff Super Top Trump cards were also included.
* Pack three from 2008 had characters from 42 to The Poison Sky. A Professor River Song Super Top Trump card was also included.
* Pack four (2010) features characters from The Doctor's Daughter to Flesh and Stone. A Lone Centurion card was made for this.
