Juhani was eventually discovered to be Force-sensitive by the Jedi Knight Revan, and freed from her servitude. She then made her way to the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine and was accepted for Jedi training by Jedi Master Quatra.

Juhani grew up on the planet Taris after her family escaped the assault on their homeworld during the Mandalorian Wars. In addition experiencing great hardship and xenophobic discrimination, Juhani was sold into slavery after the death of her parents in order to pay off their debts. Juhani was eventually discovered to be Force-sensitive by the Jedi Knight Revan, and freed from her servitude. She then made her way to the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine and was accepted for Jedi training by Jedi Master Quatra. Years later, Juhani would once again meet Revan, who by this time had forgotten his previous identity. Juhani had fallen to the dark side but was redeemed by Revan after he defeated her in combat. Grateful to Revan for showing a way back to the light, Juhani accompanied him on his mission to find the Star Forge. This would prove to be her doom, however, as at the end of their journey Revan once again fell. Once again becoming Darth Revan, lord of the Sith, Revan and Bastila Shan dueled Juhani and Jolee Bindo, killing both Jedi.
