| - Gray was a Harvard Graduate with Honors, and an employee of the Central Intelligence Agency prior to her selection for recruitment in the International Presidential Consulting Agency. She had expertise in technology, and was installed in Panama for her CIA career. In 1989, she participated in an operation within the country alongside Gary Stoneman. He was on orders from the CIA to complete an assassination, and Gray learned the truth about her assignment upon witnessing it. The two developed animosity towards each other, but both earned the trust of Gabriel Logan and became intelligence officers in his new Agency. Gray, known for her stern leadership, was in charge of an Agency unit that included the operative Cobra, and they conducted a search into the city of Carthage, Michigan for the wherabouts of Lawrence Mujari. They were able to recover him from the captivity of Soren Masson and the Anarchiste Libertaire Armee. From there, Gray developed a bond with her agents. She worked several small cases related to the Omega Strain after the Cathage operation, including a mission in the Amazon and the trailing of Mara Aramov where she discovered a connection to the North Korean secret police. Gray and Lian Xing tracked DPRK agent Yong-jun Kim to Sanzo Murakawa of the Yakuza, and Xing raided his business while Gray shadowed Kim onto an airplane. Kim had stolen a sample of the Omega Strain from Murakawa, prompting Aramov to order his plane shot down over the Myanmar jungle. Gray was among the passengers killed in the crash. Xing, Cobra, and an assortment of Agency operatives were able to retrieve her body for return to the United States.
