- The Dagger-class Interceptor is the Triad Confederacy's answer to the ever increasing problem of fast, lightweight craft for patrol and police duties. This fighter is smaller and less powerful than its larger Rapier[1]and Broadsword brothers. It does not have an A.I. unit nor does it have any torpedo launchers. It carries two powerful laser cannons and a single ion cannon to disable enemy ships. Its only option for heavier firepower are the hard points for detachable rocket pods. The pods use seeker rockets, flack rockets, or the most common, dumbfire rockets. The fighter has decent shields and armor allowing it to survive combat longer than its Imperial and Rebel counterparts while still being able to keep pace with both of them.
