The Off-World Colonies is a term used to describe the human settlements on Mars, Venus and Luna following the Colonisation Initiative. These colonies planned as Great Work projects, with huge modern architecture buildings, eventually went downhill, in a similar way that Earth had done, zoning laws collapsed and slums, markets and other buildings were created right in the middle of great plazas. Even further on, the great buildings began to be neglected, and mass traffic problems caused the congestion of almost every road in the continuum.
