Gammossi was assassinated in 2012 following a gang war with the Terresse Family over Los Angeles, as he felt that the city would be a promising location for a new trade route for drugs. His successor Giovanni Gammossi became a successful Don and made peace with Don Terresse and resumed operations from France and America and later, Austria and southern Italy. The Gammossis performed well in fighting against small gangs in the area, and remained strong until the arrival of Montana Gang in 2015. The Montana gang, made up of mostly Mexican or American criminals, were powerful and took over some parts of L.A. with Fortunato Regime. The Gammossi Family's current acting boss is Orlando Caccamise after Giovanni's death in 2016 at the hands of Tony Montana himself.
