Retreating is a desperate tactic used to prevent from losing any more casualties. This tactic is only used when the enemy is too strong. However, retreating may be a trick used by sly commanders to lure the enemy into a trap. Often, a small squad of lightly armed troops are sent to attack, and then retreat. The enemy will follow, in a false sense of superiority. Either with stealth weapons, or sudden raids can take out the enemy troops.
