The 1969 National 500 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) event held at Lowe's Motor Speedway on October 12, 1969. Donnie Allison won his only race of the year, leading 161 of the 334 laps in route to a sixteen-second victory on brother Bobby. Eventual season champ David Pearson finished 5th. Stats
