- With the Wilderness Rejuvenation update, there are also three runite rocks in the members' only area of the plateau. The area can be quickly accessed using the Ghorrock Teleport from the Ancient Magicks spellbook or the Ice Plateau Teleport from the Lunar spellbook.

There are multiple ice warriors and ice giants throughout the plateau, making it and the Asgarnian Ice Dungeon the only locations where free players may fight them. In the members' area of the plateau, ice spiders can also be found roaming alongside them. Ice strykewyrms are also found on the plateau. There are also several spawns of water runes, cosmic runes, and law runes.

Het vereist een Firemaking level van 92 om het aan te steken en het heeft geen bewaker. Tijdens de 14 hour rel, het Rule Seven Protest en andere rellen, zouden vele spelers zeggen "Ice me" en zouden ze geteleporteerd worden naar het Frozen Waste Plateau. For some reason, the westernmost gate to cross into the members only area of the Wilderness was removed as of 13 December 2011 during the Wilderness graphical update.
