Shadows of Rage are mission bosses from Final Fantasy XI: Rise of the Zilart. Two of them are summoned by Zeid during Bastok Mission 9-2: Where Two Paths Converge. While they have low health, they hit as hard as Zeid and are capable of creating Skillchains with him, making them priority targets. Zeid will not summon them again for some time, giving the party a brief reprieve. Shadows of Rage can use Great Sword weapon skills up to Shockwave.
