Ron Snell (born August 11 1948) is a Canadian ice hockey player. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round, fourteenth overall, in the 1968 NHL Amateur Draft. He played seven games in the NHL, all for the Pittsburgh Penguins, during the 68-69 and 69-70 seasons. He played for the junior Regina Pats and turned pro in 1968. Snell never made it as a regular with the Penguins and spent most of his early career in the minor pros. In 1973 he jumped to the Winnipeg Jets of the World Hockey Association. Snell spent a season and a half there before falling back again to the minors.
