The 2015 Atlantic hurricane season was a fairly active hurricane season with 13 named storms, 6 hurricanes and 3 major hurricanes. The strongest hurricane was Hurricane James which reached peak strength at CAT V with winds of approximately 205mph. In the spring of 2016, the hurricane names 'Fonzie' and 'James' were retired from re-use, respectively.
